Having once considered a full-time career in writing due to past freelance jobs and overly-kind high school teachers, Langford Shepherd decided to go a different route.

He works at a little corner store bakery during the day and writes novels at night, like a sort of Batman meets Clark Kent meets romance author mashup.

Taking inspiration from real-life tales and dreams alike, Langford weaves fantasy and reality together to form an intoxicating blend of romance, adventure, and sex.

reads like the author had a couple fever dreams and polished them to perfection(ish) - which reading the forward, feels true enough to home
