Thom Brannan (est.1976) has been a submariner, a nuclear operator, an electrician, offshore oilfield trash, and now does maintenance on automated machinery for whoever will let him.

He's a freelance editor for anyone who will have him. He has been published in several anthologies, in several genres. Thom find his inspiration equally from Robert B. Parker and H.P. Lovecraft. Write a list of things you'd like to listen to while you work, write things about the world in which your story/novel/series takes place. Write a poem. Just keep the mind engaged with words, and that should help.(less)

The mind is fertile and new ideas pop up all the time, but I've only got so much time and/or energy. Working on a bunch of things at once has left me diffused and tired, so the thing right this second is to prioritize something and hammer on that until it's ready for the editing stage, then on to the next thing.(less)

I'm a fan of this "series" so far, and I see no reason that I won't love the next couple, as well.
