Sunday Snog – Finally Found

Here’s a snog-tastic snippet from Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition, which is a lesbian erotic romance anthology, containing my story, Finally Found. It also contains tale from Doris O’Connor, Erin M. Leaf, Luxie Ryder, Emma Shortt, Giselle Renarde and Eve Meridian. It was released Friday and you can grab the buy links here.
Ashleigh shook her head, apparently still trying to wrap her brain around Natalia’s revelation. “Well, I admit you’ve thrown me a little off track here. It’s going to take a while for it all to sink in. But it seems we’re ultimately on the same page, so yes, I was flirting with you. Like mad, in fact.”
“Well,” Natalia said, pulling her hands from Ashleigh’s grip and moving them to cup the redhead’s face, “thank fuck for that. Consider me to be flirting right back.”
With that, she leaned in and pressed her lips to Ashleigh’s. They’d shared many kisses over the years; friendly, celebratory, consolatory… but nothing like this. She’d fantasised about this moment for so many years, and now she could scarcely believe it was happening. Natalia opened her mouth and deepened their kiss. She tasted mango lip gloss as her tongue slipped into Ashleigh’s warm and willing mouth.
Their groans mingled even as their tongues clashed, wetly slipping and sliding against one another. Ashleigh tangled her hands in Natalia’s brunette locks, pulling her head gently back until their kiss was broken. Natalia mewled in protest, but her complaint quickly turned into a deep moan of pleasure as Ashleigh’s soft lips touched the skin of her throat. She kissed, nibbled and gently sucked at the sensitive area until Natalia was helpless—and almost boneless—with pleasure. Her pussy and clit throbbed as blood rushed to the area, and she was sure that a look between her legs would reveal a very wet and eager cunt. The enthusiasm with which Ashleigh was pleasuring her made Natalia suspect that she was equally as hot and horny. She seriously hoped so.
“Ash.” Her voice was husky with want, and she cleared her throat before continuing. “Ash, let’s get naked. I want to see you. To touch you.”
Ashleigh pulled back from her sublime torture of Natalia’s throat and ears, a huge grin on her face. “I thought you’d never ask.”

A Happy Hat Trick!
If you saw yesterday’s blog post, you’ll already know that I had a lesbian erotic romance story come out as part of Evernight Publishing’s Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition anthology. And already it’s gained a silver star on All Romance eBooks – how awesome is that?! SO excited!
However, on my way back from London (we dashed in and out for a few hours. Yes, I know we’re insane), in an attempt to stay awake in the car, and because I’m obsessive like that, I checked out Amazon. And, lo and behold, I spotted TWO other new releases that I hadn’t been expecting. Well, I kind of had, obviously, but not yesterday. Hence my hat trick – three new releases in one day!
So, there was Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition, as I already mentioned. But the two surprise releases were Smut by the Sea, a seaside themed erotic anthology which I co-edited with Victoria Blisse, which also contains my fairground story, Dodging (not Dogging, as Victoria originally thought when she saw the title). Finally, my super sexy sugar daddy story, In Search of Bookcases was released as part of Xcite Books’ Cougars and Jackals anthology.
Each of the book pages for Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition, Smut by the Sea and Cougars and Jackals have more information about each of the books, as well as extracts from my stories, and buy links.
So, dependent on whether you like romantic lesbian fiction based in London, seducing a fairground worker in Hunstanton, or hooking up with a seriously rich guy in Harrods, London, (ooh, two stories set in London – weird coincidence), check out the pages and get clicking on those buy links.
Also, if you want more of my story, Finally Found, from the Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition anthology, stop by tomorrow and check out my Sunday Snog and you’ll be able to read a saucy snippet from when my sexy lesbian ladies have their first kiss. It’s hot!
Happy reading, everyone!***

On Being an Author
I’m writing this post as part of RJ Scott‘s anniversary blog weekend – the subject is being an author (new, old or very old).
Honestly, I’m not quite sure which category I fall into. Certainly not new, as I’ve been doing this a while. But I don’t feel old or very old, probably due to the fact that I haven’t completed a novel yet. That’s my next aim, followed swiftly, of course, by getting it published! However, perhaps I’m creeping towards being an ‘old’ author (at 27, shocking!) as I have actually started writing a novel. As regular readers of my blog and followers of my work will know, this has been a very long time in coming. I’ve written lots of short stories, which have gradually grown longer, and a novella. But now it’s time to hit the big one!
So, although I don’t consider myself an expert (I probably never will, I’m just not that sort of person!), I’m not quite a newbie, either. And for me, being an author is currently a part-time occupation, though my brain throws out enough ideas that it obviously thinks I’m doing it full-time. The plan for me is to keep writing like crazy and getting things published until (IF!) the royalties grow enough that I don’t need a day job. It may never happen, but hopefully it’ll give me the opportunity to save lots of cash and go travelling to some cool new places – the US being a major aim. The flights are just so damn expensive!
So there you have it, a little more about me, my aims and being old!
I’m also giving away a prize as part of this event, so just fill in the Rafflecopter below for your chance/s to win!
New Release: Lover Unexpected – Sappho Edition
I have another new release! Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition is an anthology containing my first release with Evernight Publishing. It contains seven lesbian erotic romance tales, including mine, Finally Found, which is set in London, England. I had brilliant fun writing it, and I hope people will enjoy reading my story, and of course the other fabulous stories in the anthology.
Check out the Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition book page for an excerpt from my story, as well as a list of buy links (only a few at the moment, but I’ll add to the page as more become available).
Have a great weekend, everyone!
P.S. Keep an eye on the sidebar – I’m doing lots of guest blogging for the next couple of weeks to get the word out about my new releases. My next one is in September, and is my first m/m piece!

Books for Bunnies
Books for Bunnies is an event set up by the blogger over at The Bunny’s Review and coordinated with the help of blogger Alchemy of Scrawl .
These two ladies have worked tirelessly in getting authors to donate eBooks for the event. Currently there are over 100 eBooks that have been donated, along with over 30 print books. Some of the print books are even signed by the author’s themselves.
The event is to help raise money for the House Rabbit Society . The House Rabbit Society (or HRS) is a 501 non-profit organization to help raise awareness and to rescue rabbits from animal shelters. Below is a little about the background of the HRS.
House Rabbit Society Background
House Rabbit Society is a national, nonprofit animal welfare organization based in Richmond, California. Our mission has two parts:
Through our fostering program, volunteers rescue abandoned rabbits and find permanent adoptive homes for them.
Through education, we seek to reduce the number of unwanted rabbits — and to improve bunnies’ lives — by helping people better understand these often misunderstood companion animals.
In line with our mission, we are against the exploitation of rabbits.
Since HRS was founded in 1988, over 25,000 rabbits have been rescued through our foster homes across the United States. Many of these bunnies had run out of time at animal shelters and were scheduled for euthanasia; others had been deemed “unadoptable” because of age, health, or disposition. Because there is no time limit on our rescued rabbits, HRS foster parents are able to spend time getting to know each individual bunny and can then match him or her with an appropriate home. We neuter/spay all incoming rabbits, obtain any necessary veterinary care, and attend to their social needs.
In caring for so many diverse bunnies, our all-volunteer organization has learned a tremendous amount about their social, behavioral, and medical requirements. By sharing the collected information these rabbits have taught us, we are able to help other people improve their relationships with their rabbits. HRS provides educational materials to veterinarians and humane societies and helps individual rabbit people solve behavior and health problems, primarily through our web site, www.rabbit.org, and our quarterly publication, House Rabbit Journal.
Over the past 20 years, HRS has grown from 300 to more than 8,000 members, with local chapters and educators in over 30 states plus Canada, Italy, Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore. Our web site, www.rabbit.org, is accessed over 100,000 times a day by people in dozens of countries around the world.
We are asking people to donate money to the HRS at this link through Network for Good . The person that makes a donation will receive either an eBook or print book equal to the amount donated. There are books ranging in price from 99 cents to $27.00. There are several print copies of the books that have been autographed by the author.
The person that donates will receive an email thanking them for donating. That email needs to be forwarded to books4bunnys@bunnysreview.com . This will show the amount that has been donated. Please remember there is not any donation that is too small. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. The HRS will use the money to either help pay for vet bills or help in finding a forever home for the hundreds of bunnies in their care
Please if possible take a moment to donate a couple of dollars to the HRS you never know what bunny’s life you might be saving.

Weekend at Wilderhope Manor is Re-released!
I recently got the rights back to my lesbian erotica piece, Weekend at Wilderhope Manor, so I’ve re-released it myself, on Kindle. Luckily, I was able to use the same cover again, because I think it’s fabulous. It’s enrolled in the KDP Select programme on Amazon at the moment, which means they have exclusivity for 90 days, but it also means people can borrow the book, which is awesome.
However, since the title has a completely new listing on Amazon, it means all my previous reviews have gone. So if you’ve already read and enjoyed Weekend at Wilderhope Manor, I’d love it if you could post your review on Amazon. Any “likes” and tags are also hugely appreciated.
Grab your copy here, if you haven’t already. You can also read and blurb and an excerpt

Guest Blog: RJ Scott
Apparently in square mileage terms England is the size of Louisiana. Does that help my American friends visualise how big England is? Whether or not this fact about Louisiana is true it certainly reinforces one thing – everything that you find in England is in a very small space! Also our entire country is only as big as a single American state.
I live in the centre of England. It takes five hours or so to drive to the Lizard (The very bottom left point) and probably a similar amount of time to drive up the country to the border with Scotland in the North.
Within an hour of leaving my house I can hit London, Windsor Castle, Pinewood Studios (where they filmed Harry Potter and film James Bond) Stratford Upon Avon, Banbury… Within two I can be near Stonehenge or the sea. Within three I can be into Wales, or down to Dover and Battle (where the Battle of Hastings took place), or up into the Peak District and even Yorkshire.
We literally trip over history every time we step out of our door. My town is connected to the Civil War, Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn, the 7/7 bombings and it was where certain scenes in the Clockwork Orange were filmed. There are castles and manor houses within a slow Sunday drive and I think as a people we don’t appreciate what is outside our door.
My book, The Gallows Tree, is set in a very real village near me, and part of the authenticity of the story was actually to walk the same paths that Cody and Seb would have walked. I have an image in my head of the exact place that Cody saw the horse and the lovers and I have seen Seb’s manor house that he shares with his brothers…
I would love to share it with you too.

Gallows Tree:
Cody Garret arrives in England to restore Mill Cottage, but he’s actually come to heal. What he doesn’t count on are Sebastian Toulson-Brown and the destinies woven into the story of the mill, including the sycamore trees that surround it.
Cody Garret is only just finding his way after an abusive relationship ended with his ex in prison. Coming to England to restore Mill Cottage is his way of running so he has time to heal. His goal is simple—hire a company to help make the mill cottage saleable then go back to the States.
What he doesn’t count on is meeting Sebastian Toulson-Brown, the brother of his contractor and the man who may be able to show him he can stop running.
But first Cody and Sebastian must deal with the ghosts of lost loves and the destinies that are woven into the story of the mill and the sycamore trees that stand on its land, one of which might be the gallows tree.

Lucy Has Left The Building
Hi all. I’m not normally around at weekends as I’m usually off out doing something with my OH. I usually manage to pop onto Twitter or something, but this weekend I will probably be pretty quiet as I’m up in the Peak District for a couple of nights enjoying views like the photo on the right. Hopefully the weather will be okay (though it’s not looking promising at the moment) as I’d like to take the dog for a decent walk Saturday, which is also my birthday – hence the reason for the trip. My birthday = a visit to my favourite place
Then Sunday morning will see me zipping down south for a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour, my present from my OH. Which I’m not excited about at all, honest.
So a busy time will be had by me, possibly much of it without mobile phone signal. Though if I do happen to have it, perhaps I’ll be tweeting from the Peaks. We’ll see. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Another Super Review of Off the Shelf
The super Carole from Midnight Boudoir reviewed Off the Shelf, and commented:
“I thoroughly enjoyed this fast easy flowing read and at only 65 pages is perfect to grab some “me” time with. This is an adorable romance that ends in a super passionate sex scene built from the sexual tension that had been building beautifully throughout the story. I found Annalise so likeable it felt like I was watching a best friend having a romance with someone I knew; they felt so familiar. Lucy really brings these two characters to life making them completely real in your imagination; she adds the little things that we all do to make them familiar to us on print.. er…ok pixels.”

Sex Toy Review: Lovehoney Sqweel 2 Oral Sex Simulator
Those lovely folks at Lovehoney sent me the Sqweel 2 Oral Sex Simulator to test out. I never used the first incarnation of this toy, so I’m a total Sqweel newbie. Marketed as “the world’s best oral sex simulator for women” this toy has ten silicone tongues, three powerful speeds, 30% more power than the first version of the toy, and a new reversible mode and flicker function.
My first impressions were good: the packaging was great, the toy itself looks good and is of good quality, and it’s easy to store. It takes two AAA batteries which are easy to come by, and switching on the toy is pretty self-explanatory (though there are instructions, too!).
There are definite pros and cons to the Sqweel 2 Oral Sex Simulator. It’s well made, innovative, not too expensive and feels nice on your lady parts. However, the material means that unless you want to be sore, lube is absolutely necessary, so no using this for a quickie. Also, it’s fairly noisy and if you press it too hard to your body, it slows down the mechanism.
Overall, if you find it easy to climax and are looking for a sex toy that’s a little different, then I’d definitely check out the Sqweel 2 Oral Sex Simulator. But if you like your toys with serious power and concentration on your clit, then I’d probably skip this one.
