~ Lei ~ Reading Is An Adventure ~ From one Cali native to another, thanks for inviting me to be your friend, Christy.

I was looking at your quotes and you have as many pages as I do, so, I'm picking this one for you:

“Maybe our favorite quotations say more about us than about the stories and people we're quoting.” ~ John Green ~

Dean Pusell Thank you for being my friend Christy :)))

Cedric Nye Christy,
Thank you for accepting my Friend request. You have some killer looking books, very hard-core. I hope you are having an excellent day. Oh, wicked profile picture. That picture is how I feel sometimes.

Diane Dooley Pleasure to meet you, Christy. Happy reading!

message 159: by Ed

Ed Rambeau Thanks for accepting my friend request, Christy. You seem like an interesting person, so feel free to tell me more about yourself and perhaps we can grow to become even greater friends. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author, so perhaps we can share books and ideas in the future. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's.

Regards, and have a great day, Ed

Harlequin Books Hello Christy, it is a pleasure to meet you.

Danielle The Book Huntress (Back to the Books) Thanks for the heads up, Christy. That's an awesome deal.

message 154: by Matt

Matt Margo How do you read so many books in so little time? Did you take one of those "speed reading" courses or something?

Katherine Marple Wretched is my personal favorite. I think it's because I put a lot of emotions into it, so I'm bound to the storyline (warranted or not). People tend to like Okay more, for some reason, though. Even though I also put a lot of work and emotion into Okay, Wretched is still my fav.

Katherine Marple Has your experience ruined any chance of reading my other books? :) Just need to know if you were completely scarred.

Katherine Marple Thanks for the honest review Christy. Wretched is definitely one of my more "serious" and emotional stories. I wanted it to be that way to show others who don't deal with the disease just how emotional it is. I may have gotten a little carried away with the driving force, but... in a sense... I sort of like it that way too. :) Happy reading!

message 150: by D.A.

D.A. Schneider Thanks for the friend request, have a great day. The 9 Ghosts of Samen's Bane by Derek A. Schneider

Katherine Marple Ok. My 2nd edition of Wretched was just approved, so I ordered a few copies today. Once I get them, I will ship one to you at the address you provided, for review. Thank you! :)

message 147: by Matt

Matt Margo Yes, I just checked my e-mail inbox and found the confirmation letter! I am absolutely stoked. I had basically given up hope upon noticing that about 400 people with zero books, zero friends, and zero photos also entered the contest, but whaddaya know?

message 146: by Matt

Matt Margo What?! Did I really?

message 145: by Jen

Jen Knox Great reviews on your new book ~ I have a few to read before it, but I genuinely look forward to it ~jen

message 144: by Shalonda

Shalonda Williams-McClendon Hey There, I hope you have an awesome week. Be peaceful and pamper yourself just a little. Peace

message 143: by Matt

Matt Margo Jim Leftwich, John Crouse, John M. Bennett, Reed Altemus, Luc Fierens, Sheila E. Murphy...That should be all of them.

message 142: by Matt

Matt Margo Go to Lulu and search for some of the books/authors I've added over the past few days. I think that you would very much enjoy Peter Ganick, Jukka-Pekka Kervinen, Scott MacLeod, and the others.

Booklover Butterfly Thanks for the friend request!

message 140: by Matt

Matt Margo In your experienced opinion, what novel serves as the best introduction to bizarro fiction? I'd probably prefer something with transgressive violence/gore.

message 130: by Amber

Amber So, I figured you're the perfect person I know to ask about this philosophical conundrum that's been bothering me:

If two zombies have sex with each other, is it still considered necrophilia?

Technically they're both dead, but they're living dead so it could be argued that they're alive as well. What do you think? You know more about this kind of stuff than me ;P

message 129: by Megan
