Gerry Burke Paddy Pest and Stormy Weathers, of course. They are my creation and the most dynamic duo fighting crime today. Do you have any other silly questions?

[image error] The award season is coming around again and I'm sweating on a result for "Be Dead and Be Damned." the award tally is six so far and the reviews have been good for this one and the last effort - true crime from outer space. Who would have thought?

I'm a lazy blogger so here is an excerpt from Readers' Favorite:

Gerry Burke It has been some time since I posted a comment. I'll have to spend some time in the naughty corner. Since Paddy Pest went into hibernation, I have thrilled my readers with a science fiction novel and a murder mystery set in my home town of Melbourne. So far, Paddy and his friends in and out of space have picked up six awards. We are all thrilled. If you don't read one of my books soon, you'll be joining me in the naughty corner.

Gerry Burke I am delighted to have received a gong at the 2011 USA Best Books Award - Pest Takes a Chance was a finalist in the Humor Category. Paddy Pest is a pretty funny guy for an international crime buster.

Gerry Burke There is nothing I like better than reading my own books - The Lady on the Train is the latest and there are laughs by the bucket load. However, some caution - they are only suitable for children over thirty.
