THE LIST Vol.3
This weekend is a big one for the Melbourne comics scene. Supanova is rolling into town, just in time for Paul Bedford (writer), Henry Pop (penciler) and Tom Bonin to launch the third and final long awaited volume of their psych-horror masterpiece, THE LIST. Paul and Henry will be selling copies at the show, and on Saturday night they will be holding a launch party at Loop Bar (23 Meyers Place, Melbourne) from 7pm.

I've read an almost-completed version of the book and folks, it's gorgeous and disturbing. It has a foreword by, uh, me, but really this book needs no introduction. I reckon that the first two volumes have outsold just every other locally-published comic in the last five years and their popularity is well deserved.
So, if you're in town, get down to the Loop Bar and check it out. If you're not, you should soon be able to buy volume 3 from their website or from blackboox.net.
Cheers,

Heidi's Pick Six interview
Hey folks,
I recently did one of Heidi Ruby Miller's infamous Pick Six interviews. The six questions I've picked have me talking about coffee, guitar rock, and how dreams factor into my writing process. Check it out here:

Don't forget to check the archives, where Heidi has interviews with Sean Williams, Charles Stross, JA Konrath, Tom Piccirilli, Angeline Hawkes and dozens of other awesome writers.

Spotlight on Blackglass
http://www.tasteslikecomics.com/2011/03/indie-spotlight-blackglass-press/
Is it just me, or are we starting to see some really good comics reporting this year? Following Dino Caruso's Crystal Fractals interview and a couple of others that haven't been published yet, I'm starting to feel like the new sites are really engaging with the industry--at least with the low rung part of the industry where I hang out-- a lot better than they have int he past.
I especially like journalists who make me sound like I know what the hell I'm doing.
