Chance Arradondo, is a novelist, poet, short story teller, and lyricist, who was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1989. He holds a degree in Business management from Minneapolis Community and Technical College.

Chance wrote rap lyrics, short stories and poetry in high school. He was encouraged to write and rap lyrics by his aunt Tina Arradondo. His aspiration to write and create short stories and to pen poetry were inspired by his life experiences. While growing up Chance loved watching science-fiction movies, and reading the comics.

In high school, he spent hours upon hours on end reading books on countless topics and subjects at the bookstore after school. In Writer’s Block: Poetry and Food for Thought, he discusses a variety of topics ranging from his world views, to the struggles of being a young black man in America. He is currently [2019] working on his solo writing project, a work of science-fiction.

K. Caprice Arradondo, Is a poet, short story teller, lyricist and father, who was born in Edina, Minnesota in 1988. He is also a licensed tattoo artist. K. Caprice purchased his first tattoo gun in his late teens, and he has been drawing, tattooing and writing ever since.

He was encouraged to write and rap lyrics by his aunt Tina Arradondo, and his aspiration to create short stories and to pen poetry were inspired by his life experiences. While growing up K. Caprice loved to draw countless images, creating works of art.

In high school he immersed himself into drawing, writing poetry and short stories. His love for sketching became effortless, an essential part of his daily routine. He also wrote and recorded lyrics in the studio, and showcased his poetry on stage at the Capri Theater in north Minneapolis, alongside his cousin Chance Arradondo. In 2009, K. Caprice co-authored, Writer’s Block: Poetry and Food for Thought, with his aunt Carlotta Arradondo and his cousin Chance Arradondo.

In Writer’s Block: Poetry and Food for Thought, he covers a variety of topics ranging from the hardships of losing his father at a very young age, to the struggles of being a young black man in American, and the importance of never giving up.

He is currently open for business at BTTB Tattoo Studio, (since 2018) in south Minneapolis, and working on his solo writing project.

Carlotta Arradondo, is a Novelist, poet and short storyteller, who was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Human Services certificate from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. She felt conflicted. She had a desire to write, but she loved helping people in need. Carlotta enrolled in courses in creative writing, and playwriting. She couldn’t put the pen and paper down.

Carlotta found her passion for writing at age nine. It was during that time she began to refine her skills for class assignments, and pen short letters to her mother. As she grew older her desire for writing increased. She released her debut novel, Yearning, in 2007. She revised and re-released it in 2013. In 2009, Carlotta Arradondo co-authored, Writer’s Block Poetry and Food for Thought, with her son Chance Arradondo and nephew K. Caprice Arradondo. She believed their huge contribution to Writer’s Block, made it an inspiration for young and older readers alike.
