12 Days of Giving 2015: #3
Send to KindleReady? This holiday season,
Give your body a break.
Yes, yes I did go there. Because it’s not only the season of potlucks, office parties, family dinners and too much chocolate—and yes, there is such a thing as TOO much chocolate— it’s the season of full days with all kinds of have to do NOW activities.
Maybe I’m the only one, but it seems often my exercising gets dropped off the urgent list and my healthy eating habits also get dropped. Double whammy- ick.
But it’s not possible to do it all, so find at least one thing you WILL and WON’T do this season. Like: I WILL make sure I get some walking in every day. If that means parking at the far end of the shopping mall, hey, at least you’ve added a few steps to the day.
Or how about: I WON’T have more than one treat per day.
Going cold turkey isn’t the idea. Have some fun, but come post-holidays, I know I’m always happier if I’ve not thrown my hands in the air and simply gone hog wild.
You have any specific WILL and WON’T you want to share? Leave a comment and make a commitment! I’ve got a pretty bag with some swag in it as a gift for one commenter today.

12 Days of Giving 2015: #2
Send to KindleThe challenge today is to Give someone else a break.
This is an easy one to do for people with small children. Watching someone else’s kids for a couple hours to allow them to have kid free time to shop can be a huge huge help. But everyone can use a little hand once in a while. When you head to the post office, are there packages you could take for a neighbor? If you live in an area that has snow on the ground, can you shovel one more section of sidewalk for someone you know?
It’s opening up our eyes to see what’s actually happening around us that’s the challenge, especially when our to-do list and shopping list seems overloaded already. One small thing can make a big difference in another person’s life.
Give it a shot–make someone’s day!
I’ve got a 1o$ iTunes/Amazon gift card for one person to take their own break after the holidays. Add any comment today to be entered to win. And make sure you’ve placed your name on the

12 Days of Giving 2015: #1
Send to KindleDay one, and the challenge is: Give yourself a break.
Some of these challenges will be familiar if you’ve ever participated in the past, and there’s a reason for that. No, I’m not too lazy to come up with new ones,
It’s that these are the things I need to be reminded of myself. Again, and again, and again!
This challenge doesn’t require any money.
As the holiday approaches we all have lists of things to do. Family dinners, shopping for presents, annual Christmas family update letters, children’s concerts, staff parties, christmas cards, white elephant gifts…
Is your blood pressure higher now than when you started reading? Sorry. The idea behind behind today’s challenge is for you think for just a moment about that to-do list. Are you doing some of these things simply out of habit? Are there things you used to do before you had babies/ toddlers/ teenagers eating you out of house and home? Are you doing them because you’re “supposed to”?
There are seasons for everything, even the fun things like Christmas cards. Give yourself permission to do the REALLY important things, and let one of the less important ones slide.
If there is one thing you could stop, what would it be? If there’s one important thing you need to start this year, what should it be?
Leave a comment about that if you’d like. I have three digital keychains to give away, so three winners.

12 Days of Giving: 2015 version: Add your name HERE
Send to KindleBack when I started writing, I noticed authors hosting holiday giveaways, and I wanted to take part–but I wanted to do something a little different. The first year I posted The 12 Days Of Giving, I was living in an RV with my family as we traveled around North America, and it was a great way for me to give financially to a great charity that a reader suggested. I held the event for three holiday seasons in a row…
…and then I fell victim to the very thing I was trying to avoid. I got too busy with online time, working—life in general, maybe, but bottom-line: Too Busy.
I’ve made a commitment to adjust my priorities, and so we’re traveling back to my roots.

“Hi.” His gaze dropped to her lips and he outlined them again. “You taste good.”
A growl broke loose unintentionally and his grin widened.
Yeah, the slow was nice, but she wanted more than nice. She wanted some screaming and stomping and…
She leaned down and kissed his neck, and this time he was the one who rumbled. She nipped lightly, and he snapped upright a foot, strong abdominal muscles under her shooting them both vertical. “Oh God, woman. You ready for this?”
“For my mate?” Keri’s brain wasn’t attached to anything but the sensual points of her body. “Is anyone? You worried?”
“No. I’m yours, you’re mine. I’m free and clear, and well over twenty-one and if I’m not inside you in about thirty seconds I’m going to die.” He followed up by digging his teeth into her neck and pinning her in place while he stripped off her bra.
Thirty seconds were going to be far too long,
“I’m yours. I know you thought—” Oh hell, he ripped her panties apart at the hip, and suddenly explaining that Chad wasn’t really a boyfriend slipped off the agenda and flashed to ashes faster than taking a blow torch to a scrap of floss

Send to KindleAre you a fan of adventure romance? Books with lots of action and adventure, but plenty of romance to go along with it? If so, I think you’ll love HIGH RISK, the first in the Adrenaline series!

“They can all be jealous I’ve got the most beautiful girl in the room.”
Marcus stood and pressed her to the wall, and she let him hold her there. She smoothed his hair with her fingers. “That was lovely. Thank you.”
He nodded. “Would you accompany me home after the gala tonight?”
Asking, not ordering. Politely worded even. She beamed at him. “I’d like that very much.”
Grinning like the conspirators they were, they slipped back down the stairs, pausing outside the party.
Becki tugged him to a stop, smoothing her hands over her hair. “How do I look?”
“Like you were ravished by a madman against a wall,” he whispered.
A snort of laughter escaped before she could stop it.
Marcus pirouetted her, his gaze lingering on her legs before snapping back up to her breasts and finally her face. “You look gorgeous. I can’t wait to show you off.”
She twirled a finger and he obediently rotated for her inspection. All the long, lean length of him, moving at her command, and when he faced her again, she couldn’t speak.
He lifted a brow. “That bad?”
“That good. I’m drowning in my drool over here.”
