A Little Rant

Wambui Bahati

I’m just saying . . .

Download: rant100.mp3

So many things to think about

So many thoughts in my head

So many beautiful and wonderful people –

Yet some people who are technically alive, walk around like they’re dead.

So much good

and

So much not good

Corruption, lies, deceit, half-truths, almost the truth, the truth withheld, the story distorted, the story not told, white lie, no comment, afraid to tell the truth, can’t tell the truth, don’t want to tell the truth, not sure what the truth is, . .

And then the Alphabets floating in and around my head

CIA, FBI, NSA, DOD, DHS, DEA, DOE, CID, FDA, NDAA, WHO, CDC

And what is the real purpose of HAARP?

The fluoride in the water and GMO in the food

And what the heck is in those lunches they feed the children at school?

If I get sick from one toxin, someone will want to prescribe me another.

And no one wants to talk about chemtrails in the sky,

Or, how I don’t like strangers touching me before I get on a plane to fly.

And what’s with the push for the vaccinations and so many examinations?

And so many ways to spy on me?

Am I still free?

Was I ever free?

And everyone has an agenda.

What’s up with 21?

And how will I be safer if the bad guys and the government are the only ones with a gun?

And still there are people who are mad and scared of other people

with different colored skin

or different religions

or who belong to a different political party — as if it really makes a difference.

Will we be overcoming anytime soon?

And, does anyone really have a clue to what is really going on?

I’m just asking –

Dance, Dance, Dance

Dance, Dance, Dance – Keep Moving – “get on down!”

“The only exercise some people get is jumping to conclusions, running down their friends, side-stepping responsibility, and pushing their luck!” – Author Unknown

Download: dance2.mp3

One of my favorite tunes to dance to when I’m having a party of one — or more, is Gladys Knight’s ‘Mid Night Train to Georgia’.

We all know the body needs to move. Your brain needs a good supply of blood in order to work properly. It is the times when we feel the worst that moving our bodies could probably benefit us the most. Yet, it is at these times when exercise is the last thing we want to do—it is the last thing we remember to do. Who wants to move when we’re tired, depressed, angry or stressed?

However, if we could make a conscious effort to move when we are feeling low, we can recover and feel better much faster. Just play uplifting and happy music and dance. Sounds crazy? Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it. Play music that reminds you of happy times. Stretch out those parts of your body you are able to stretch. Move, move, move. Dance, dance, dance. Your body, your mind, and your soul will thank you.

bulbs in boxes

Bulbs in boxes – I got these for a really good price. The idea was to re-sell them and make a profit. However, No one saw the beauty and fun that I saw.

Stories, Everybody Has One

Everybody has a story to tell

Everybody has a story to tell

ONCE UPON A TIME AND LONG LONG AGO

WHEN I HEARD BEDTIME STORIES THAT’S HOW THEY USED TO GO

THOUGH THE TALES WOULD ALWAYS LULL ME TO SLEEP

I REALIZE THOSE STORIES WERE NOT SO UNIQUE

FOR THERE’S ONE THING THAT I’VE LEARNED

AND I’VE LEARNED QUITE WELL

THAT IS EVERYBODY HAS A STORY TO TELL

Six Things To Be Aware Of If You Want to Feel Fabulous

People jumping in the air

Six Things To Be Aware Of If You Want to Feel Fabulous!

1. Be aware of what you put in your body.

It is hard to dismiss the tried and true statement “we are what we eat” -and drink. If we eat garbage, we’re going to look and feel like garbage. If we eat life giving foods, we feel more alive. One needs to ensure that their body is getting what it needs to maintain a healthy state.

This can vary from person to person. Most people spend more time researching vacation spots than learning about the foods and chemicals they put in their bodies.

2. Be aware of what you put on your body.

It is easy to forget that our skin is an organ. What ever is put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies. They absorb the ingredients in lotions, oils and make-up. Through our skin, our bodies also absorb chemicals that may be in the water we bathe or shower with.

When buying new garments that are washable, it is a good idea to wash them before wearing them. We have no idea what chemicals or dyes were used during the process of creating the garment. Many man made fabrics, even when washed, can irritate one’s skin or cause other invisible health issues. (Killer Clothes)

3. Be aware of who is in your life.

I heard Dr. Christiane Northrup express the idea that before one asks “What’s the matter with me?” One should ask, “Who’s the matter with me?” From time to time, there are people in our lives who do not serve us well. Sometimes these people are absolutely loving and talented people. However, they can drain your energy–and steal your joy.

4. Be aware of what is in your environment.

Today, we are bombarded with electronics, electromagnetic waves and other man-made energies that we cannot even see. The ‘smart’ technology jury is still out. We are not certain of the long term effects it might have on all of us. Create an environment for yourself that feels as comfortable, joyful, peaceful and as safe as possible. When in doubt, lean toward natural.

5. Be aware of what you say and think.

The power of our words and our thoughts has been greatly underestimated. What we think and what we say directly affects the kind of life we create for ourselves.

6. Be aware of what you listen to and read.

Words are food for thought. Like the food that feeds our physical bodies, words that we read and listen to feed our minds and spiritual bodies. What are we reading and exposing ourselves to through various forms of media? What are we listening to? What are the lyrics we listen to saying to us and saying about us? Are we immersed in words and music that leave us feeling empowered or wiser?

It’s Never Too Late

It's never too late to be what you might have been

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”

Hmmmmmm. I couldn’t have said it better myself. So, I didn’t. My favorite Quote!

Geroge Eliot
