Anna D. Allen is an award-winning writer noted for her eclectic style in the genres of speculative fiction and Regency Romance.

Anna is essentially half-Finnish and half-Southern, which means she has no sense of humor and will shoot you for wearing white shoes after Labor Day… unless you are attending a wedding and happen to be the bride. She lives deep in the woods and spends most winters snowed in and trying to remember what warm is... something she vaguely recalls experiencing in the 20th Century.

She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Language and Literature. In 2001, she was a recipient of the Writers of the Future award for her short story, "Ten Gallons a Whore," currently available in her collection Lake People. She is
