I am empowered by the reviews I’ve received and am amazed at how far I’ve come, how much I’ve accomplished, and the power of faith. I believe I’m not only an inspiration for my own children, especially my daughter, but for other women who feel as hopeless as I once did. If my story makes a difference in at least one person’s life, then the struggles and sacrifice to get where I am today were not in vain. I am proof that life goes on after death, after children, and after 40.

Elise’s partial memoir, A Promise Kept, was her first book. In 2014 Elise learned she should share more of her story . On June 10, 2018 she finished her completed autobiography, Wildflower. In addition to her memoir, she has the framework for a based on a true story

WILDFLOWER is not another “misery lit” or an “abuse story,” rather it is an uplifting and encouraging story, sprinkled lightly with humor and ro... Read more of this blog post »

Ed Rambeau Thanks for accepting my friend request, Elise. You seem like an interesting person, as well as an accomplished author, so feel free to tell me more about yourself and perhaps we can grow to become even greater friends. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's. My first novel is an unusual murder mystery entitled: FORBIDDEN STEPS.

Regards, and have a great day, Ed

ZooDoc Hi Elise! You and I have a lot in common. I lost a daughter in 1998 to AIDS, and then her mother was murdered by an estranged boyfriend a year later. I know writing your memoir was extremely painful and yet therapeutic. Sharing your experience helps others see that love and joy transcend the pain. May you find peace in "the God of all comfort."
