Manicreaders.com gave Sealed in Lies a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Check out the review below:
Jack Weaver is a former Navy Seal who is on the run. His cover has been blown, and he is bound and determined to discover who is behind it. As he digs, he finds an assassination plot in motion. As he keeps uncovering information, he ends up with the vice-president elect's wife as a hostage. Caroline Walters has always been the dutiful wife, dressing just so and acting just so. However, it is never good enough for Warren. After her latest beating by her husband for not being good enough, being kidnapped and held hostage seems a step up. Will Jack be able to get to the bottom of the plot before the assassination is indeed carried out?

Jack and Caroline are such an unlikely couple. Ms. Abell weaves a wonderful story involving depth, substance and variety. There are twists and turns aplenty but the reader never loses sight of the main goal: to stop an attempt on the president elect's life. As the author reveals hint after hint, the reader begins to follow the trail like breadcrumbs. No matter how full you get, you continue to follow because the end seems to be in sight, and the journey is too delicious to stop. I found myself turning page after page anxiously awaiting the climax. I found the situations to be compelling and intriguing. Sealed in Lies was everything anyone could possibly expect to find in a suspense book with a dash of romance.
