Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the south of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Vulcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide.

After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband (who can now stop twisting her arm) she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged-in male, her laptop.

Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they are to write.

Barbara Elsborg I'm lucky. I don't have that problem. I do have days when my output slows down but I just work through them.

I think all authors must be the same. We could get a ton of gushing reviews and it’s the one (or more) bad ones that we remember. I shouldn’t look at Goodreads, should hardly look at Amazon but I am a glutton for punishment. Still, this time it wasn’t the review sites that made me wobble, but other authors. They don’t do it deliberately – obviously, but when you’re not on ‘ a certain list’ , yo...

Putrii Octavia Dear Barbara. Thanks for accepting my friend request. I just fall in love with the way you write your book when i read Strangers. It's the coolest book. I can't stop re-read that book. But I can't stop read your book. just want to say thank you for those books (and many more books). Gbu :)

Barbara Elsborg Thank YOU, Elaina! I'm so glad you enjoyed Strangers.

Elaina Thank you for the add. I really enjoyed Strangers and can't wait to read more of your work.

Barbara Elsborg You're an angel!!!!

Zany Rin You are very welcomed and thanks for letting me know. Oh and I am a mod over at Reading Is My Escape and you can bet I have mentioned this series as well as a few of your other books to folks in the group. Maybe I will start a new challenge along the lines of Mod Pick of the Week/Month or something like that to help spread the word of Elsborg Awesomeness!!

Barbara Elsborg Ah thank you!!! Loose-Id didn't want anymore in the series. They only want 3 books in a series I think. BUT mine weren't really a series because they didn't feature the same characters just members of the same family. I did leave the last book - Fight to Remember - with a hint about more family members at the end! Just in case. Maybe I'll ask Loose Id and see what they say. If you're in the paranormal group on Goodreads, maybe you could suggest one of the Trueblood books for a group read?
Paranormal Addicts & Newbies - Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy

Zany Rin Thanks for accepting my friend-vite!
I have to say that I fell in love with books beginning with Anna in the Middle and Strangers but what really sent me over the edge was your Trueblood series which has become one of my top faves. Can you tell me if there are any other mysteriously missing Markovs we don't know about because I would really enjoying reading more. I love LOVE love this series!!!

Barbara Elsborg I'm thrilled to bits with this one. One of my favorites!! Let's see if readers like it and the story inside! LOL

Josephine Myles Hi Barbara - thanks for friending me :D

Great to see the cover for Cowboys Down - it looks fabulous! Doesn't Scott do a smashing job with them?

Barbara Elsborg Thanks, Shelly!!
