Al W Moe was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and traveled across the United States and lived in foreign counties before settling down in Reno, Nevada.

His first published articles appeared in "Poker Player" and were followed by regular columns in "Casino and Gaming Chips" before the publication of "Nevada's Golden Age of Gambling."

He has worked for several casino groups in Washington, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, and continues to play poker on a regular basis when not involved with writing deadlines.

I had some initial success with Smashwords, especially with short stories. I released several 8k to 12k shorts and they did pretty well, but overall, my ability to sell my genre-specific books was hindered by not implementing a real marketing program for Smashwords. I enjoyed getting into several additional Ebook markets, but like most authors, I was looking for more.

This is a good solid effort by author Michael Whateley. It's a military saga where the only way to win is to take anyone capable and work with them. No arguing about protocol, no screaming with Generals. The strong survive.

This was a very entertaining read. The author took the theme of Vampires and wrote a new story with the Holy Grail, witches, shifters, time travel, and an overall paranormal bent and added a bit of romance to stir in the brew. Highly recommended.
