E.A. Bucchianeri hails from the old Wild West, Virginia City, Nevada to be precise. A town made famous by its gold and silver mines, the Bonanza TV series, and Mark Twain who immortalized his experiences as a miner, journalist, and writer's blocked editor for the local paper in his autobiography "Roughing It". She later moved to Co. Tipperary Ireland, finished High School there at Loreto Academy and graduated from University College Cork. While classical music and musicology was her major, she loves to write. When not roughing through a case of writer's block, the author enjoys writing non-fiction. When the author is suffering that dreaded affliction, drowning in chocolate is the next best thing.

Bucchianeri currently lives in Fatima, Portug

I've received this question on another site and thought it deserves to be put in the Q and A section here.

Please, do not be fooled by "Out of Stock" or "Temporarily Out of Stock" messages in stores such as Amazon: my books are ALL in print, and available for order / purchase!

Amazon has created a confusing situation with several of my publications by saying they are temporarily out of stock, but will 'deliver' when available. That's only because they probably don't have a copy ready and waiting in their warehouse, but all my publications are available, so please, do place your order, a book will be sent.

Perhaps some stores do not want to handle the order themselves and place a basic listing on their site so that their Marketplace sellers can sell it instead. You can order from the Marketplace sellers, they can handle the order.

Goodreads also offer a handy list of online retailers you may shop at. Simply visit a book's page here on Goodreads and look for the "Online Stores" button under the book information. Click that, and will will see a list of links that will take you directly to the book at those stores.

I recommend checking Barnes & Noble first: several of my books qualify for their Free Standard Shipping!(less)

Coming soon!  The sequel to Brushstrokes of a Gadfly....

After the night of the horrific accident, everyone's lives have been turned upside down.

E.A.’s Recent Updates

E.A. Bucchianeri added a status update: AUTHOR UPDATE: Rough draft done on Vocation of a Gadfly! Ending has received Inspector Mom's approval. She loves it, says the story concludes perfectly as this is a sequel to Brushstrokes of a Gadfly. She's my best yet toughest critic. So, I'm glad to hear I've got a thumbs up from her! We love the characters, it's hard to say goodbye to them. However, it's time for the polish work. So, I've got a busy summer ahead!
E.A. Bucchianeri added a status update: UPDATE: rough draft nearly done! Yea! Now my #1 copy editor and fan, Inspector Mom, is reading the latter half: "Oh nooooo! Aww!" (Tragic bits). "ARRGHH!" (Scary or nasty parts.) "Oh my, I have no words for this, I have no words for this!" (Plot surprise or I'm guessing a twisted sick-puppy-of-a-character has caught her off guard!) So far good responses in all the right places. I must be doing something right. LOL!

" Did you know that the prophet, stigmatist, mystic and Third Order Franciscan Marie-Julie Jahenny (1850-1941) was given beautiful messages about God's Divine Mercy?  Not surprisingly, they are the same messages given to St. Faustina (1905-1938)..." Read more of this blog post »

“I dispute the point that nuclear energy is 'clean' and 'cost-effective'. As I recall, when we first harnessed nuclear power it was to drop an atom bomb on a civilian population, not to save the environment. However, you must admit, the victors are never tried for war crimes.”

Phrom a Phantom Phan’s Perspective

(If you’re a ‘Phantom of the Opera’ Phan like I am, you know what that means.)

“So it’s true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love.”
E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

“Falling in love is very real, but I used to shake my head when people talked about soul mates, poor deluded individuals grasping at some supernatural ideal not intended for mortals but sounded pretty in a poetry book. Then, we met, and everything changed, the cynic has become the converted, the sceptic, an ardent zealot.”
E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

“An acquaintance merely enjoys your company, a fair-weather companion flatters when all is well, a true friend has your best interests at heart and the pluck to tell you what you need to hear.”
E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly
