I am a writer, reader, author, editor, book designer and publisher. I am a mother of two, grown, children and a wife. I like working with my hands, so when the need or desire arises, I crochet, sew, tile, paint, cross stitch, frame pictures, stain furniture, cut and split fire wood, x-country ski, train and ride horses…
But my main loves are writing and helping others publish the book of their dreams. I started writing in college (a while ago!) and haven't stopped since. I'm having the time of my life!

I like Lee Child and the Jack Reacher series so when I saw this audio (#14 in the series) was available online from my library, I checked it "out."

Stats: Published in 2010, print is 383 pages, the audio was narrated by Dick Hill, who narrators many of the Reacher stories (as far as I can tell). 13', 13" for the audio version

“Never be so focused on what you're looking for that you overlook the thing you actually find.”

Leo Tolstoy
“Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love. Everything is, everything exists, only because I love. Everything is united by it alone. Love is God, and to die means that I, a particle of love, shall return to the general and eternal source.”
Leo Tolstoy

Elizabeth Barrett Browning
“How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.”
Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Sonnets from the Portuguese

Henry James
“Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.”

Hello Christine,

It's such a pleasure having you for a friend. I am looking forward to reading your work! Thank you and best wishes to you.

Warmest regards,
CJ

Christine Keleny I actually mailed it on the 16th. I'm not sure why you haven't gotten it yet. If it doesn't come in the next few days, let me know and I'll send another copy. I send it media mail and I know that can be slow, but I think you would have gotten it by now.

I got your book and letter, by the way. I am part way through another book I am reviewing, but when I'm done with that, I'll start on yours. Historic fiction is my favorite, so I'm looking forward to it. I'll let you know when I start reading.

Harold Titus Christine,
I haven't received your copy of "A Burnished Rose" and am wondering if you'd rather not do a book reading/review exchange. If so, please let me know. No pressure here. Let's do what you want to do.

Harold Titus
