What is your name?

My name is Detective Katie Scott and I’m the main character in Her Last Whisper by Jennifer Chase.

What do you look like?

I’m five foot six inches tall, long dark hair, with a fit body because I have to be able to hold my own against bad guys if necessary.

I know an incredible family, the Durrants, that have four children and they opened their home to three (siblings) making their family with seven children. I cannot begin to imagine how difficult it must be, but it’s done all in the name of love. With everything...

Through the combined efforts of...

If you’re a fan of crime fiction and even true-crime stories, the issue of ‘evidence’ is usually at the heart of the story. But, what’s the deal with evidence? And how does it help a prosecutor build a case?

Well, it’s probably best to start at the beginning. A person commits a crime and then is arrested. Now, in order for the prosecution to build their case, they need evidence – and usually, lots of it. Because, in order to put someone behind bars, the jury n...

Drones: A Valuable Resource for Law Enforcement
