Cara Diaconoff earned a B.A. at Oberlin College, an M.A. in English literature at University of Wisconsin, and an M.F.A. in creative writing at Indiana University. She has taught writing and literature as a visiting professor at Southern Methodist University and at Whitman College, as a lecturer at Texas Christian University, and as a Peace Corps volunteer at colleges in Russia. She also served as managing editor of THE GETTYSBURG REVIEW. Currently, she teaches at Bellevue College, near Seattle.
