A romance novelist and short story writer, Christine has over forty publications to her name. She loves to exercise and stops writing just long enough to keep her body in motion too. When she’s not pretending to be a ninja in her basement, she’s most likely spending time with her family and two dogs.

My thoughts on any of my Goodreads reviews are only my opinion as a reader. I don't post anything here that I'd give less than three stars to.

We all need things to help get our creative juices going. Sometimes it's music, pictures, reading a great book. Sometimes inspiration comes from sticking to a routine and working through a problem.

Over the years, I've had to rely less on inspiration and more on treating my day as a routine. This can be a blessing and a curse.

My brain is always working on my stories in the background. I do my writing in the mornings after I've taken my dogs for their walk. The combination of physical activity and the opportunity to let my mind wander in silence gets my creative juices flowing. When I sit in front of my computer, I'm at my most inspired to write.

That doesn't mean I don't get flashes of ideas at other times. It also doesn't mean that I'm super productive every day. But the routine makes the writing easier. (less)

The question, "What if" is the best one I tend to ask myself.

For example, I'm a huge fan of HGTV shows. I love seeing not only the end result of other people's creativity, but I love to watch what goes on behind the scenes with contractors and designers. Being a romance writer, I couldn't help but notice how some of the male and female contractors would interact with one another. How hard was it for those women to get into a typically male-centric career? Then there was the TV show aspect. How would that change the interaction between the sexes?

What if a new designer and an experienced contractor were forced to work together on a show?

That question was the spark that set me on the path to writing NAILED.

As long as a writer has the ability to ask that question, I don't believe it's possible to run out of ideas to write about. (less)

Description: People have their reasons for signing up for a sugar daddy site. Maybe it starts with a dare. But if they’re lucky, it ends with a bang . . . Haley Arnold made her first million at the age of twenty, thanks to her Internet business, Fashion Finds. Young and rich, she became an easy mark for men looking to take advantage. Now ten years older and divorced, Haley isn’t looking for love, she’s looking for no-strings-attached sex. Will signing up on a millionaire sugar daddy site bring her a man who meets her needs? Devin Ford is smart, highly educated, aimless, and bored. At a party the night after his Ph.D. defense, he takes a bet to sign up on millionaire sugar daddy site. With so few sugar mamas, he doesn’t expect anything to come of it. So he’s shocked when beautiful Haley contacts him. And they’re both surprised when their first meeting leads to a night of mind-blowing sex. But the closer Devin wants to get to Haley, the more she pushes him away. When he learns of the hell her ex-husband put her through, Devin decides to show her that not every man is out to use her—and that real love is priceless . . .
