You CAN make a difference !

Take a look at this chart.  We think it’s an excellent example of the adage;  “Think Globally,  Act Locally!”    A few simple steps can save you money and protect your health.  Make smart choices about where you shop and how your produce gets from the ground to your table.  If you support farms and businesses that are choosing to make a difference in the community it can have an immediate effect for individuals in your area.

Human hair, crushed bugs and sex hormones. Yum or yuck??

Unless you hold a degree in chemistry it’s more difficult than ever to know what’s in the food you’re buying.  A good rule of thumb is to not buy anything with an ingredient you can’t pronounce or an ingredient list that says,  ”continued on the next package..”


 


Of course the easiest way to know what you’re eating is to make sure that your focus is on whole foods in their natural state.   You won’t see a lot of ingredient labels at your farm stand.


 


Need some inspiration in transitioning to a plant based diet.  This article might do the trick !!
