I wrote this book based on what I learned when I managed a team of high performing people. At first I thought I knew how to hire the best people.

Over time, the company grew, I was promoted and my team was transferred to new managers. I watched as my high-performing team started to fall. That was when I realized that it wasn't who I hired that made a difference, it was what I did with them after I hired them that mattered.

Aloha

Aloha is an amazing word. It means both hello and goodbye. And it is the essence of my message today as I am saying goodbye to Jett Excellence and hello to Red Knight.


The journey through this change has been bittersweet. It saddens me to leave behind the Jett Excellence brand that I have created and grown over the last 10 years. And yet, there is much more joy than sadness.
