Naomi Helena Quiñonez, mestiza poet and interdisciplinary scholar, has written two collections of poetry: Hummingbird Dream/Sueño de Colibri and The Smoking Mirror, published by West End Press. Her forthcoming collection of poetry is The Exiled Moon. Quiñonez co-edited a poetry anthology, Invocation L.A.: Urban Multicultural Poetry, which received the American Book Award. She recently co-edited Decolonial Voices: Chicana and Chicano Cultural Studies in the 21st Century, a collection of essays exploring new directions in Chicana/o cultural studies. She currently teaches in the College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University.
