Happy Friday!
A favorite day of the week for those of you who work 9-5, Monday-Friday. I was never one of those folks, even during all my years at Disney. I always had Friday and Saturday off, which were good days.
Now I look forward to Fridays for a couple reasons. One is that I get to sleep in on Saturday-Monday because I don't watch my grandson on those days. Sleeping in is around nine. Those three days are me days.
Tomorrow my daughter and I are taking the kids to a school festival. Can you believe they are charging $8 per child? I thought that was kind of high. I guess it's to raise money for the school.

Sad but true for a lot of us. I used to be a good cook, and baker. And I did most of it from scratch. Heck, I can remember making spaghetti sauce from scratch. And then Rague and Prego came along, and scratch turned into a doctored up sauce where I just added a can of mushrooms, and stewed tomatoes. I used to make home made pizza crust, and a killer carrot cake. Oh, and a chocolate cake that was so much better than the box kind. My dad told me once that my home made apple pie was better than his mother used to make. It's been a long time since I've made anything from scratch. How about you?

Good morning!
You know, it's just not fair that I can't do the things I used to do when I was younger. Fifty-seven isn't old by any means, but with degenerative disc disease I have limitations, which frustrate the heck out of me. Sometimes I try to do the simplest things and then I pay for it later.
Oh, well. Back to Kelly and Michael.

Sunday Sneak Peek
LINK
to participating authors.Sorry I'm late posting this. What is sneak peek Sunday? It's where authors post 6 paragraphs of a published work or WIP. This week, I thought I'd post 6 unedited paragraphs of Bishop's Angel, a WIP I'm just about finished with.Adult Excerpt
He wants me? Why did that surprise her? She’d been thinking about him all night. Even in her dreams. There’d always been something about him that attracted her in the pictures Diana had shown her, and the stories she’d shared, but meeting him in person took her breath away. As soon as she’d realized who he was the night before she’d decided she wanted him. And he just opened the door.
Deciding actions speak louder than words Brooke reached up and wrapped her hand around the back of his thick neck. He showed no resistance as she pulled his head down until their lips touched. And that’s when Bishop lost control. Groaning low in his throat, he rolled on top of her and ground his mouth over hers. His passion fueled hers and opening her mouth, she invited his probing tongue inside.
It was their first lustful kiss, filled with more fire and emotion than Brooke had ever experienced before. Bishop thrust his hips into hers, letting her feel the full aroused power of his cock. What they were doing was crazy! But crazy had never felt so good! She parted her thighs and his lower body moved in between them as if they were pieces of a puzzle. A cry of pleasure escaped her when his cock brushed against the mound of her creaming, sensitive pussy.
Bishop kissed his way down her throat, and over her shoulders, moving the thin material of her nightshirt when it got in his way. Brook twisted and arched beneath him, unable to remain still as his warm mouth moved over her. She sensed an urgency about him, yet at the same time an inner battle not to give into it. As he continued to move down her body his hands took the edges of her shirt and tugged it open.
She gasped, trembling wildly when his lips caressed her breasts, ending with the tips in his mouth. He tongued and nipped at her nipples until Brooke couldn’t take it anymore. She raked her nails down his backside and inched her hands beneath the waistband of his boxers, taking hold of his taut, straining butt cheeks. He grunted, grinding his cock against the thin material covering over her mound.
Without warning Bishop reached down and tore Brooke’s panties from her. Then his hand was there, touching and exploring her as she bowed up into it, whimpering. A burning rush was working through her body. His mouth traveled down her ribcage and belly, and then his tongue was spearing her pussy like a battering ram. Going as deep as he could, manipulating her clit and pulling it inside his mouth like he was sucking on a nipple.

Will a forbidden love on the fringes of society stand the test of time?
“The music was working its magic in the hot sultry afternoon and she moved to the slow beat of its wonderfully flowing rhythm. She could feel the insane heat in his eyes without turning around. He stood, cupped her breast and gently ran his hands over and under the swell of them, weighing them in his hands, surprised at the heaviness. She laid her head against him and her hair fell across his chest. Drew’s erection was almost painful. Oh dear sweet Jesus, so this was why Adam was thrown out of Eden, what a ride that must’ve been”.
Drew Down, an accomplished son of a rich Kentucky planter, is destined to be the richest man in America; however, his life-long love for Daisy, a young, beautiful slave on his grandparent’s plantation, threatens to unravel their world and destroy their families. In this sweeping saga beginning with his lessons in New Orleans and the house on rue du Maine with the beautiful Celeste Dubois, granddaughter of the infamous courtesan, Celestine, then Drew’s self imposed exile to Europe before the Civil War, and the collapse of King Cotton, two lovers struggle to be true to their hearts despite society’s disapproval.
Drew is the courageous hornet slayer who uses his wealth and power to fight social and legal dragons, but Daisy is the calming force who captures the slayer’s heart with kindness and fights to secure her family’s place in what will become the melting pot of America.

Love a Tree Blog Hop
Ebooks are here to stay my friends. Let's face it, the world we live in is fast paced, and just about everything is going electronic. Every year they come out with new and improved devices that make our lives easier, and I hope, help save on some of our planet's resources. Trees being one of them. I happen to love trees. Every year when the news media makes a big to do over the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting it saddens me. Those beautiful trees are up to 100 feet tall. Do you know how long it takes for a tree to grow that large?
I know there are some of you diehards out there who has to be holding a book in your hands. I used to be one, too. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's not my intention to make anyone feel guilty, just to give you something to think about:)
Seems like it's been a while since our last blog hop, huh? I hope you're ready to discover new authors and possibly win some prizes. My giveaway this hop is a download of my newest release, Surrender to Desire! It
just came out on the 15th of this month, at Smashwords. It's book #2 in the Evans brothers trilogy. Book #1 was A Perfect Fit. Both are stand alone romances so you don't have to read the first one to make sense of the second one.
