Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Susan spent her summers riding her bike to and from the local library to borrow her favorite books and movies. The push to create her own stories was influenced by reading and watching the Grimm’s Fairy Tales and the Percy Jackson book series, as well as a love of history (her favorite subject in school). She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education and taught elementary school for a short time. When not writing or working, she can be found doing arts and craft projects. She lives with her husband, plants, and computer in St. Louis, Missouri.
