Alessandro Margheriti nasce nel 1982 a Brindisi. A 18 anni si trasferisce a Milano e nel 2007 ottiene la laurea magistrale in Chimica industriale e gestionale. Nel 2008 approda a Torino, dove trova impiego nelle biblioteche e successivamente come tecnico di laboratorio e professore di Scienze.
Dal 2015 vive in Spagna e lavora come insegnante.
È un lettore onnivoro, con la passione per la letteratura scandinava e il fantasy. Ha ottenuto diversi premi e riconoscimenti in concorsi letterari di livello nazionale con scritti in prosa e poesia.
Nel cuore di Icaro è il suo primo romanzo.

Un ottimo romanzo distopico, ben strutturato e con una trama avvolgente. Un messaggio profondo che emerge da una storia toccante, un inno alla libertà individuale.
