Born on Long Island, NY (near Belmont Race Track, where the immortal Secretariat won the 1973 Belmont Stakes by 31 lengths in a little over two minutes going a mile-and-a-half) now live in far west Texas north of Big Bend National Park. Member of Texas Mountain Trail Writers since mid-90s. Author of The Prodigal Band Trilogy and its three novels: Battle of the Band (OmegaBooks, 1996), The Prophesied Band (OmegaBooks, 1998) and The Prodigal Band (OmegaBooks, 2018). If your characters are Brits and you are American, you might want to spend time in Britain like I did and note various accents and slang expressions. Yes you will make mistakes (I did...the original novels used "pants" instead of "trousers" and other slip-ups), but do not be discouraged as the hymn says. Just be inspired. "Inspiration" will guide you. If the One that inspired you means for you to have success in one way or another, it will happen. Do not fret over lack of reviews or ratings (I estimate about a thousand folks have read my books and I still don't have Amazon reviews yet--their guidelines are very strict, including no friends or relatives!)
