Gary M. Nelson, BSC, PMP (Gazza) is passionate about sharing knowledge and making Project Management concepts more accessible, particularly to new and aspiring Project Managers (of all ages). Said another way, he likes to tell stories to help convey complex concepts in a way that helps the concepts "stick". Who says learning shouldn't be fun?

Born in Calgary, Alberta (Canada), Gary moved west to B.C. at the very early age of 2, where he spent most of his formative years - aside from a 6 year stint where he learned to appreciate living in a very small town of 800 people. The best thing about being a writer is the freedom to create something new - new worlds, new stories.
However it also comes with a sort of responsibility to the characters - you can't just write what you want all the time. The characters 'speak' back when you try to write them doing something that would be out of character.
In some ways it is like watching your own children develop - you don't always know how it will end up, and they are full of surprises.(less)

Guest Post: Being An Effective Public Speaker Is Essential For Leadership Success In Business - Is It True?

Being a successful public speaker is more than just walking up to a crowd and talking. It’s a way of convincing others of your ideas and beliefs, letting the world know that you have something to say. But how does this translate to effective business leadership if all you do is talk? That’s what you think you’re doing, “talking”, but to everyone else, you’re doing something much more. Persuading, Read more of this blog post »

A very enjoyable Christmas story

Quite an enjoyable short Christmas story, a modern Christmas Carol with nice twists. A nice light read for the holidays.
