How I rate books

Yup

3 stars – The neutral, it’s okay score. (Also, the mixed feelings score.)

4 stars – The positive, I liked it score.

2 stars – The negative, didn’t like it score.

5 stars – Very positive, no complaints score.

1 star – The non-existent, DNF-ed it score. (I don’t review books I don’t finish, so I guess this one’s private…)

And I round up the half points! Pretty simple, right?

3.5, rounded up.

So far, this was the weakest volume in the Knightfall saga for me. Things started great, but quickly the story took a halt with a flashback adventure. What’s worse, this flashback only rehashes the overused formula from the previous i

Why Not Wichita reads like a fan-favorite episode of an awesome TV show, and it’s great!

The story follows Miriam, a snarky 24/7 (super)hero who just wants to unwind, but of course, things keep getting in the way. It’s a simple premise, but very rela
