I joined the Peace Corps in 1987, and that was one of the three biggest changes in my life. Earning my Eagle scout is also in that top three, as is the choice to become a Christian. If you buy a book, 15% of the money goes into the construction of schools in Nepal. In 2023, we hope to bui

I had to pause to start learning biblical Hebrew. Not that I am fluent or anything, but I spent two hours a day for 30 weeks to get a place where I can better grasp the Jewish history side of our God.(less)

I should have died on April 10, 2020, and this book is the result of the mystery that resulted from my continued existence. It is a series of short stories and one of them is my personal story. Hope you like it. (less)

I would make the time to read the contract before agreeing to the terms of engagement.  “Just send over the contract, and let me look at it” were common words for me, perhaps as common as “pass the salt” at dinner

“When the time comes to you at which you will be forced at last to utter the speech which has lain at the center of your soul for years, which you have, all that time, idiot-like, been saying over and over, you'll not talk about the joy of words. I saw well why the gods do not speak to us openly, nor let us answer. Till that word can be dug out of us, why should they hear the babble that we think we mean? How can they meet us face to face till we have faces?”
