Imani Osei-Acheampong (1991) was born in Long Island, NY to faith-serving Jamaican parents. She is a Podcast Host and mother to a lively 7 year boy. She attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and in 2013, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in Law and Society. Holistic Healing is her passion. She created Ara Welo in 2018 to help the women and children in the community. Dedicated to her mission she continued her education and became a certified Reiki Healer. Imani’s love for spirituality and education has provided many opportunities for her to give back to the community.
