Amanda Wilson was born in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. She attended Grenfell Campus, Memorial University, where she graduated with degrees in English Literature and Education. When she's not writing books, updating her mental health blog, or watching anime, you can find her curled up with a good book while sipping on a chai latte. "Where the Land Meets the Sea" is her first novel.

Amanda resides in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador with her husband and son, their two rescue cats, Arty and Daeny, and an English Mastiff named Miesha.
