Maisie Dobbs: I know I'm late to the party on this one, which was originally released in 2003. But I loved it, and planned to read more in the Maisie Dobbs series. The the mix of historical fiction and mystery. Also, welcome this opportunity to learn more about WWI, which was so devastating to Europe, with so many young men killed and badly wounded. (less)

And every writer, no matter how seasoned, experiences this phenomenon. I write down keywords I want to include, and start with a simple sentence. Then I build on that sentence using the keywords. Sometimes I end up with two sentences, and try and combine them. I often tweak several times.(less)
