"Fiction is reality retold in a passionate, deeper, and poignant way, making a significant impact on the reader while drawing him away towards the cozy comforts of a beautiful escape zone." - Manita V

Manita V has been a prolific writer since she was a teenager and she has posted nine novels on several blogs since 2010.

She is a practicing allopathic doctor who continued to read and write in the time saved beyond the worldly pursuits. Fiction has always been her first love. When she is not practicing medicine or writing novels, she loves to bake, and sometimes, paint with watercolours.

Learning new skills keeps her motivated and her love for languages makes her efficient in more than six different languages that she can speak with ease.

“The ways of the human mind are mysterious - it takes hardly a few seconds to weave imaginary threads connecting people, places, incidents, situations, or circumstances, whether they exist or not. Only to contradict itself the very next moment. It can debate with itself and play a question-answer session all on its own. It can speculate and refute, build hopes and quash them, form castles of random impossible stuff and name them fantasies…”

“A man is not defined by one allegiance alone... If he were, then reason would have no value, nor would loyalty have meaning.”
Krishna Udayasankar, Kaurava

“The only way to speak of death is flippantly. Death is what makes life ironical – it eludes you when you want it the most, and seeks you out when you desire it the least. Perhaps, if we manage to perfect our longing for death, we may even become immortal ...’

Krishna Udayasankar, Govinda

“The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.”
Carl Jung
