Stefanie Heidi Heuberger wuchs auf einem abgelegenen Bauernhof mit Landgasthof auf, wo sie in früher Jugend eine weitreichende, abenteuerliche Fantasie entwickelte. Ihre Schulzeit verbrachte sie zumeist aus dem Fenster sehend in anderen Welten, ihre Freizeit mit der Nase in einem Buch, wobei sie zufällig ihre Liebe zur Freiheit der Seefahrt entdeckte. Im November 2011 begann sie in einem Moment der Langeweile die Piratengeschichte zu schreiben, welche das Schreiben zu ihrem Steckenpferd machte. Obwohl vielseitig künstlerisch begabt, wurde aus ihr eine berufsstolze Industriemechanikerin und ihre Eindrücke, insbesondere jene als Frau in einem Männerberuf, lässt sie fortlaufend in ihre Geschichten einfliessen.
