I LIVE TO READ! Love doesn't come into it. Obession? Definetly! If I don't have a book in my hands most days, I'm either too sick to lift my head off my pillow, or, I'm busy with my family. And in amongst all that, I create worlds of my own.

I'm pretty new to the writing world. And like most novices, (along with a few health issues)I decided to self publish my first book instead of submitting to various pubs.

Black Pyramid: Book 1 from my epic series, Ancient Breeds- went live June 26, 2010. I've had alot of success with the story. And I'm very honored and touched that readers take the time to message me about BP. And I'm proud to announce that the second edition of BP is now out in eBook and will be available in print end of April.

Some of you know of me via Facebook and Twitter. I recently was the victim of piracy. Imagine to my horror waking up one morning to find a message on Facebook from a fan...

"I just purchased a copy of Black Pyramid and it'll be with me in a week or so! I'm so excited!"

I read the message over and over before my brain decided to work. First of all, I was pleased as punch that someone would get thi... Read more of this blog post »

“One voice whispered Beloved. She spread her colors on the starshine to embrace this land he had given her, and there were no shadows to darken the Fire soaring across the sand. Only light, only joy.

No one heard Elisel scream. Only the dragons saw her rise into the night sky like an arrow, mute after that one keening wail. It was two days before she returned to Skybowl.

Long before that, they found Sioned.”

Maureen Mullis Hi A.D.! Thank you for adding this fellow author into your circle of friends here on Goodreads. I hope you'll add my novels including the cozy mysteries (What Would Nancy Do?, Lethal Prescription), In the Company of Women, The Christmas to Remember and Finding Normal to your to-read list. I look forward to reading your book reviews and recommendations. Happy reading!

message 1: by A.D.

A.D. Stewart All the books I have listed, I own a copy. Some of my favorites, I own two. One to read, one to keep. And if it's a great series, I buy it in hardback and paperback.

I'm very anal about my books. Each tome is in prestine condition. No bent, creased, torn or discolored covers...and I dust them every week. LOL. So yeah, I'm one crazy chick!
