Goodreads Author

April 2020

Author, poet, musician, and lover of love.

You can find me somewhere out in the wild, windblown plains of the Midwest. I chase sunbeams during the night and ride moonlight during the day. When I’m not writing, I read (and bike and hike and play and laugh). I heart romantic stories second only to my wonderful husband and precocious children.

Don’t be afraid to connect with me. I only bite vampires (kidding, vampires are welcome, too).

None but You

“You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope…I have loved none but you.” ~ Jane Austen, Persuasion

More of Sasha's books…
“Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion, it is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day, it is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every cranny of your body. No, don't blush, I am telling you some truths. That is just being "in love", which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.”
Shawn Slovo, Captain Corelli's Mandolin filmscript

Charlotte Brontë
“The soul, fortunately, has an interpreter - often an unconscious but still a faithful interpreter - in the eye.”
Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

Hermann Hesse
“I have always believed, and I still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value.”
Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha

Eugene V. Debs
“I am opposing a social order in which it is possible for one man who does absolutely nothing that is useful to amass a fortune of hundreds of millions of dollars, while millions of men and women who work all the days of their lives secure barely enough for a wretched existence.”
Eugene Debs

Robert Louis Stevenson
“Quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened but go on in fortune or misfortune at their own private pace, like a clock during a thunderstorm.”
Robert Louis Stevenson, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
