Dr. John Gonzalez’s professional experience as an educator from middle to graduate school spans almost three decades. He earned a B.A. in French with a minor in English and a doctoral degree in educational leadership from UCLA and an M.S. in school administration from Mount St. Mary’s University. Dr. Gonzalez was appointed American Council on Education Fellow for the academic year 2000-2001. For five years, he lived in South Korea, where he taught and provided academic and college counseling to students at an accredited American high school. During these five years, he immersed himself in the fabric of Korean society. As a result, he gained a deep understanding of the Korean people and their culture.
