Philip Yorke has a passion for history, particularly the period of the English Civil Wars and the Commonwealth and Protectorate (1642-60).
Rebellion and Redemption are the first instalments in the five-novel Hacker Chronicles series. They tell the remarkable story of the life of Francis Hacker, an officer in the Parliamentarian army and a friend and confidante to Oliver Cromwell.
Philip is currently researching and writing Regicide, the third part of the series.
He lives in Leicestershire, England, with his wife and children.
