This is a lush, atmospheric Gothic horror set in 19th C Mexico. I would have loved more depth to Juana, but really liked the POVs of the 2 central characters. It's comparable to REBECCA, THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE and MEXICAN GOTHIC, but also has mag ...more
