Alternate versions of S.G. Wilson from parallel Earths have worked a number of jobs: robot nursing home manager (Earth 10), flying carpet weaving instructor (Earth 56), Third Gondolier for Warlord Thud of the TransAmerican Waste (Earth 456), and chief strategist for the 2020 reelection campaign of President Martin Van Buren’s clone (Earth 132). I’m not talking about more action, suspense or drama—I want more talking. Why can’t Spock and Evil Spock spend a little more time just chilling out and trading notes? Why can’t the (older) Earth 2 Superman share his relationship advice with the Earth 1 Superman? Why can’t all the Ricks and Mortys stop horsing around and get real with each other, if only for a few minutes?

That’s why I wrote ME VS. THE MULTIVERSE: to see what it would be like if a bunch of copies of the same person gathered to talk about themselves. There’s still action, drama and suspense, but there’s talking too. And fart jokes.(less)
