Debbie Johansson is an author of Paranormal and Gothic Fiction.

She grew up in Sydney's inner west, near the largest necropolis in the Southern Hemisphere. Growing up with an appreciation for film, she loved watching horror movies; her biggest influences being Alfred Hitchcock and Peter Weir's 'Picnic at Hanging Rock.'

A taphophile, Debbie is fascinated by the paranormal, mysteries, and the unexplained. She loves history, exploring old houses, and abandoned buildings.

In recent years, she has experienced ghostly encounters at various haunted locations, including Monte Cristo Homestead and Q Station, Sydney.

Debbie lives in country New South Wales with her husband, two children, and a dog named Fox.
