Heather has a personable writing style in which you feel like she's in the room talking with you about the topic at hand. She shares experiences from her own life about the toxicity of comparing ourselves to others and offers a divinely constructed path forward.

I recently finished "On Writing," by Stephen King. King lays out his advice to writers in what reads more like a memoir, which I found quite enjoyable to read.(less)

Interviews with Writers - Sean Coons

"Storytelling is a portal to transcendence and transformation. The fact that someone can read a story, vicariously engage in the protagonist's journey, and experience transformational change in their own, real lives is nothing less than magical. This is what inspires me to write." ~ From my recent interview with Interviews With Writers

Sean Coons shared a quote
Body by Sean Coons
“When we break the mirrors with which we surround ourselves—mirrors we use for constant self-analysis and criticism—we can start to see that we live in a world filled with other people, people trapped in the same theater, people who, like us, need encouragement, friendship, love. And here we find freedom, here we find our purpose, for we are here, after all, to love.”

“Like many things born in the ’70s, the Information Age is not aging well. It started with so much promise in its youth—unlimited access to the collective knowledge of mankind and all that. But now it’s going through a midlife crisis, and instead of just divorcing its wife and buying a Porsche like everyone else, it has decided to reinvent itself as The Propaganda Age.”

“The restrictive eating inherent in diets treats the body as a separate, inferior part of the human being to be manipulated as desired by the mind, as though the body and mind are in an adversarial relationship.”
