J. Victoria is 85% done with Phosphorescence: Can't stop admiring the hard cover. Beautiful, just like the book. Very moving, though there are moments when self-examination reveals my lack of inspiration, my "un-phosphorescence". Then I feel as though I'm standing on a platform watching the train I've missed pull out of the station. Maybe the last 15% of the book will change that.

The Tides Between by Elizabeth Jane Corbett

The Embroiderer by Kathryn Gauci
"I felt l learnt a great deal about the torturous relationship between Turkey and Greece. I became a member of Sophia's family and lived through everything with her. It is a very absorbing book with many twists and turns from beginning to end.
