(Warning: for an author, or even anybody my grammar is atrocious but that's what editors are for!)

My name is Jesse James and I am a young Australian Author with what used to be called Aspergers.

I've been writing on and off since I was about twelve. Some of my biggest inspirations were videogames, I found that a lot of videogames had in-depth story telling you couldn't get from a regular TV show or movie, videogames that focus on story are more personal like books in my opinion, especially those that allow you to influence and make choices in the story. Of course, I also love reading.

I like to write genre mixes, my current story is a mix of military sci-fi and fantasy.

Since then I went to get a Diploma in Digital Media Technology and I fool

Am giving up on IT

Decided that I'm not going to read IT anymore, simply because it doesn't interest me and I have other shit to read that this would be holding me back from.

There's nothing wrong with Steven King's writing, of fucking course not it's Steven King! Haha quite the contrary I found his words to kinda flow off of the page effortlessly in a manner that trumps other authors.

Part of the reason I was reading Read more of this blog post »

Realm Wars by Jesse James
"It was really hard to rate this. I actually really enjoyed the writing and the character development of the main narrative. However, when we started getting into Thoth v. Majic, it got a little too preachy or what I call unnecessary explanations.

Halo by Greg Bear
"This book was terrible. There was no theme, no motivation for the characters, no amiable or sympathetic characters, and no point. The conflict was foggy and incomprehensible at best, the characters were dry, unrealistic, unlikable, and ill-defined. T" Read more of this review »

This was an interesting listen, unlike other audio books this one had a full cast, different voice actors for every character and studio quality sound effects.

It was a joy to listen too not just because of the actors performances but because the stor

These books are getting better and better with each read, there's nothing more I could ask of this series.

It's engaging in it's characters, plot, and dialogue.

Well, I have to say I am very, very disappointed in this book... for not being more popular than it is!

I've read self published books with literally over 1,000 reviews and those ones have terrible, terrible dialogue, poor predictable plots and world

“Stand amongst the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer.”

“What is better: to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?”

“Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war: neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or fascist dictorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peace makers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Goering

“There is perhaps no phenomenon which contains so much destructive feeling as 'moral indignation,' which permits envy or hate to be acted out under the guise of virtue.”
Erich Fromm, Man for Himself: An Inquiry into the Psychology of Ethics

“You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.”
