To Change, Step Beyond Emotion

Ilchi Lee energyDepending on our thoughts, emotions, and current circumstances, our view of life and the world changes easily. But we aren’t always aware of the influences that affect our world view or choices. Often, we live looking through a mental-emotional frame or filter created by our past experiences, hopes, expectations, and beliefs without even being aware of it. Sometimes we get flashes of awareness, especially when we have to face conflict or hardship, or sometimes other people point out the way we are or the conceptions we hold, and we can see ourselves more clearly.

Our mental-emotional filter or baggage can keep us trapped. Even if we desire a change, we are carrying too much weight to alter our course easily and cannot see ourselves or our situation clearly enough to make an effective plan of action. We may get caught thinking, “That’s the way I am,” or “That’s the way things are.”

If we drop our baggage, we recalibrate our perception and recover our innate capacity for pure observation. We bring ourselves back to zero, a pure state in which we can perceive the ultimate truth and our essential nature. When our calibration is set to zero, we reach a pure and neutral, bright, illumined state of nothingness.

A state in which we are filled with emotion, whether positive or negative, while it may seem exhilarating like a roller coaster, is instead a sleeping state—one filled with shadow. The vague shadows of emotion make our inner eyes heavy and cover the truth. Once we step into the light, however, instead of only seeing what is just in front of us, we can perceive everything around us, above and below, to infinity.

In this pure, neutral, enlightened state, we are free to change direction and make different choices. One of those choices is deciding the information and values by which we live. Reaching this state, what I call the zero point, is an important step in making a profound and far-reaching change. While it is not one we can maintain at all times, experiencing zero point and being able to access it as needed helps us remain conscious of our filter and become able to use our emotions and preconceptions for the purpose of our life.

Letting ourselves descend to our center, to zero point, means reaching great enlightenment. But letting go of our emotions in order to do this can generate great fear, as if we were preparing to bungee jump off a steep, high cliff. Although our emotions are just vague shadows, it is difficult to sense the unknown light beyond them; they are comfortable, and the brightness is not.

The moment we leap boldly in spite of fear, however, that’s when real freedom comes. We can’t jump, though, if we keep that fear. That’s why the path of enlightenment is said to be one of brilliant solitude. In that jump, we release our attachment to the shadows, to the ever changing, and descend into the steady Truth.

To overcome our fear, we need to remember what is greater than it, what we want even more—to avoid the even greater pain and fear that comes with giving up on our growth and to embrace the feeling of deeply satisfying happiness that exists at zero point.

The way to reach zero point in the shortest amount of time is feeling our energy. Methods such as Brain Wave Vibration, Jigam, and Dahnmu allow us do to do this. I’ve talked about feeling energy many times because it’s the most basic sense I believe one should develop for being one with our true self at zero point.

We have to let go of whatever we hold in our hands in order to hold something new. In the same way, genuine choice and change finally become possible in a pure state that is emptied of thoughts and emotions.

Chakra Problem Solving

Ilchi Lee energy chakrasOur bodies are composed of physical, energy, and spiritual bodies. You can master having a truly happy and peaceful life when your physical, energy, and spiritual bodies come together in harmony. To help you, you have seven precious gems: your chakras.

Chakras are central points for the interchange of energy flow in your body. Energy is at the root of body and mind.

Problems with the chakras translate into problems for the body, mind, and spirit. Illness in the body and problems in society begin with unbalanced and disharmonious energy flow.

By applying the principles of energy flow, and correcting areas of imbalance, all problems can be solved. When a chakra changes, energy changes, and when energy changes, personal transformation is achieved. Transformed people will transform society.

It’s not an overstatement to say that complete health begins and ends with your chakras.

When you know how to care for your chakras, you will know health, happiness, and peace, and you will know the truth of life and the universe.

Why Change

Anyone who looks around will notice that nature is always changing: Animals and plants grow and die. Mountains are built and eroded. Valleys are carved away. As part of nature, people are always learning, growing, and adjusting to their environment to some extent.

Ilchi Lee - nature is always changing

But why is it changing? There can be many answers to this. Through my own meditations and searching, I was able to experience the energy of the everlasting and omnipresent oneness or source of life. From this experience, I learned of its loving, limitless, and pure nature and realized that I and everyone else had this same nature at our core. This essence of life is constantly seeking to express itself in a multitude of ways, with those ways becoming ever more perfect and complete expressions of it. Our selves and the Earth we live on, the universe we are floating in, are beautiful expressions of Life, and as such, are also evolving into ever grander expressions of it. This is change. In a sense, we change because that is who we are.

While we are constantly changing in some way, we have control over the extent and direction of our change. I believe our nature is pushing us toward a happiness and level of fulfillment that we can only achieve when we are in complete alignment with the source of life. When our individual lives are out of alignment, we feel dissatisfied and unhappy, as if we were missing something important.

Have you ever felt this way? I did throughout my youth until I was about 30 years old; then I put my foot down. I decided I would find the answers to who I was and why I was alive no matter what. And I did. Then I could see the gap between what my true nature really wanted and what existed in reality. From that nature, I also discovered the power and ability to change reality.

While in each individual, that gap may be large or small, within the world at large, that gap seems to me to be a giant chasm. Because of our collective level of evolution and the systems and habits that have resulted from it, the Earth’s ecosystem is being pushed to the point of no recovery. Despite how much we’ve taken from the earth, more than a quarter of the world’s population is starving, with 25,000 people, including 15,000 children, dying of hunger every day. On the other hand, millions of others struggle with overweight and the diseases that result from it. In the global economy, a small fraction of the population holds the vast majority of wealth. This state of current affairs is not in alignment with oneness, happiness, or the fullest, most loving expression of life.

That’s why it’s time to take the reins of change. We can only get hold of them if we see ourselves clearly and know who we are and what we really want. If enough people could see their true nature and learn how to express and use the pure energy of Life, we can move the flow of global change toward the happiness and fulfillment we so deeply desire and intrinsically deserve.

Use Your Three Treasures

Ilchi Lee chakra energy soulWe all have three treasures. We have a soul, and we have chakras through which energy flows that we can use to grow our soul until its development is complete.

When we know how to use these three treasures: soul, chakras, and energy, we can use them to move beyond the limitations of our material life and material civilization.

Ultimate human value is found neither in the body nor in matter, but in spirit. Valuing spirit over matter, our soul over our physical body, is the only way to have a prosperous future. Being too caught up in the material world leads many people to inhumanity, and these three treasures become hurt and unbalanced; our lives and our planet become unsustainable.

In order restore the balance of our three treasures, and use them for our ultimate development, We need to make our mind right. Our mind is the means through which we discover and use our soul, our chakras, and our energy.

Heal your soul, your chakras, and consequently your society by healing your mind. Praise and compliment yourself. Be proud of yourself. Love yourself.

This mindset brings your mind to life, and connects your mind with spirit so it can manage more than what is visible.
