Complete Your Life with Movement

Ilchi Lee walkingIf you are conscious, move.

If you have a mind, walk.

Moving is proof that you’re alive.

It’s about controlling and disciplining your body. It’s about controlling and disciplining the light, sound, and vibration that make up your body. Through disciplining your body, you will tame your mind, and awaken the divinity held within it.

Through moving your body, your soul will grow bigger and brighter until it merges with your divine consciousness and completes its life. That is what your soul came to earth to do.

As long as you have life, as long as you have awareness, as long as you have a mind, keep moving.

Meet Your Soul in Your Voice

Ilchi-Lee_meet-your-soul-in-your-voice_20140611_newsletterYou have a great variety of sounds in your voice. You may have a very beautiful voice, and you may have a fierce voice like that of a tiger.

Your voice is a kind of energy in your body, and it is your mind. That’s why, when you hear your voice, your emotions are expressed and you can feel them.

You can also feel health, great beauty, and great evil because the voice is life. That’s why you can also feel the soul within your voice.

Call out your name with the voice of your soul—the bird of your soul singing inside you. Listening to your voice, meet your soul in your voice.

At first the voice that comes out may not be your soul but your emotions. Keep calling your name, even screaming it out loud, until you feel your heart open wide. Then speak from your heart and rejoice in the voice of your soul.

When you become awakened to your soul, you can also see your divine nature.

How Energy Changes

Using magnets, Ilchi Lee demonstrates how energy, of which love is one type, changes. It can repel or attract. Just as magnets ‘push’ and ‘pull’ each other, so it is with people. This highlight is from a talk given by Ilchi Lee while on tour with his film Change: The LifeParticle Effect.

Walk Like You’re Always Young

Ilchi Lee walkingI went up Mt. Songni recently. As I climbed, I controlled my breathing, felt the condition of my body, and changed the condition of my body.

For example, there are people who walk with the soles of their feet, people who walk with the part above their knees, people who walk with the strength of their knees, and people who walk with their lower backs. They put pressure and tension on these parts, and they feel the strain over time.

However, if you observe your body and relax as you walk, you can disperse the feeling of difficulty depending on how you flex your muscles. Even though I am over 60 years old, because I walked this way, walking up that difficult mountain trail felt the same as it did when I climbed it many years ago.

Your body is part of your environment. If you ceaselessly feel and watch your body when you go for a stroll or walk along the road, you can detect many thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations with an observer consciousness. With that limitless mind, you can change your experience, and ultimately, your environment itself.

Want to Change? Have Fun!

By Ilchi Lee

woman walking happilyDo you want to make a change?

Start by becoming a “fun” person—someone who makes their existence beautiful.

Becoming a fun person isn’t hard to do. Right now, at this very moment, change how you smile, how you speak, how you walk, and how you breathe. Smile radiantly, talk about good news, and walk in high spirits and with rhythm as you breathe.

When you do that, you will first become healthy, and you’ll become happy. When you become happy, you’ll be able to share it, and the number of people who like you will increase by the minute.

Every movement you make is art and becomes dance. The words you speak, your behavior, and your gait all become art and dance. Being a person who exists beautifully—someone who is fun—starts right here, right now.

Practice it every day, in every moment. Smile, talk about good news, walk with a spring in your step, and breathe.

Growing in an Impossible Environment

large tree in Korea

Recently, I’ve been hiking on Heukseong Mountain, which is behind the Han People Historic and Cultural Park in Cheonan-si, South Korea, every day. One day, I had been walking off the trail for a while when I encountered a very numinous tree with extensive shade.

Not only did the seed of this tree land and take root on a rock, it ate up the rock as it grew. It’s actually a miraculous occurrence. There wasn’t any water around, so how arduously and anxiously must this tree have grown?

The tree achieved growth in an impossible environment. You don’t get work done because everything in your environment is set up for you. You create accomplishment from an impossible situation.

As I looked upon the miracle that this tree has performed, I was reminded of the history of struggle and accomplishment in impossible situations of the Kookhak (Korean Cultural Studies) Movement and Brain Education, which reminded me of ancient Korean history and traditional values. Thinking of them, I named this tree Dahngunmok (Dahngun tree) after the dynasty of kings in Korea who created a culture and a nation of enlightenment.

This dynasty was third after the dynasty of Hanin, who came from heaven, and that of Hanung, who founded a heavenly city. In the spirit of what these lines of kings taught, many generations of Korean people offered a heavenly ceremony in front of sacred trees like this. They called places such as this tree Seonhwangdang, in which seon refers to an enlightened person.

As other religions came in, this practice was suppressed and forgotten, but originally, it was a unique tradition of the Korean people who were guarding the Hongik Ingan spirit.

If you make a wish from your heart at sacred places such as Dahngunmok, it will come true. I hope you all can treat the miracles of nature with reverence and use that energy to persevere and make the dreams of your soul come true.

You Are the SUN

true self sunWhen your emotions disappear, you become Nothingness. But that Nothingness is not empty. In that Nothingness, you can feel your value and meet with your true self—a brilliantly shining sun within the darkness.

You are an eternal sun. That’s your true essence.

Are you not beautiful?

That brilliant sun gives warmth and light to the world.

Are you not truly valuable and precious?

Open your eyes to yourself.

Discover yourself,

and cultivate your value.

Endlessly illuminate your value by clearing away the clouds in your body and mind that cover your light. Just as the sun shines upon the world, make your value known to the world.

Take ownership of a bright world, the world of the sun. By making your value known, by letting your true self be seen, by helping others see themselves, you are creating a bright world.

That’s the purpose for which you came to the earth.

Health, Happiness, and Enlightenment

We each have three apps already built in: Health, Happiness, and Enlightenment. When we learn to master energy, we have the key to using these apps, and to discover the value of life and power of creation. This lecture highlight is from a talk given in Miami by Ilchi Lee while on tour for his film Change: The LifeParticle Effect.
