To Know the Soul
Many people speak of peace. Many philosophies and traditions
talk of the soul.
But often, the soul and peace
are mere concepts.
To truly know the soul, to truly know peace,
you need to experience it
within yourself
through energy.
If you have not felt your soul,
you have not really known your soul,
and you have not known peace.
Knowing your soul only through the intellect
does not lead to action.
It does not make the soul part of your life.
Feeling energy,
feeling the soul,
means knowing happiness and peace,
and knowing the preciousness
of the soul, of humanity, and of the earth.

Sunrise Meditation
Light can change your energy, change your thoughts, and change your emotions. Light can change selfishness to compassion, judgment to empathy, and despondency to hope. It cleanses the soul so that love can be set free.
Fill yourself with light each day from the sun shining its rays from the center of the solar system, from the LifeParticle Sun beaming from the center of your divine mind.
Look at this picture of a New Zealand sunrise now and receive the bright sun of LifeParticles for one minute. Receive them with a beaming face, a confident heart, and a hot belly.
If you sincerely focus on it, you may experience vibration throughout your whole body as dark energy leaves and your own LifeParticles brighten at the speed of light.

A Meeting of Brain Stems in New Zealand
Last Sunday, I gave my first public workshop in New Zealand. I was a little worried about how many people would show up that day. The small town of Kerikeri on the North Island of New Zealand was experiencing the worst weather it had in seventeen years, with continuous rain and strong gales of wind. The wetness and humidity of the winter had made the area even quieter than usual.
On top of that, I was charging NZ$20 for the hour-and-a-half-long workshop. That would not be much in most places, but in Kerikeri, lectures by famous speakers are typically free or by voluntary donation or only charge one or two dollars. I broke this custom because it was my way of inviting the people who really wanted to know and understand their chakras and Brain Education.
Twenty people overcame these hurdles and attended the lecture. Because of their determination, standing in front of those twenty people felt like I was speaking to 200 or 300 people. These were people who wanted to develop themselves and discover their value. I felt strongly connected to and grateful to them.
For those twenty people, I poured my sincere devotion into the preparations. I not only spoke with them and led them in Brain Education training, I gave each of them personal aura readings with a consultation on how to improve the condition of their body’s energy system. I even gave them tea made from the native kawakawa plant, which is used in traditional Mauri medicine.
I told them the story of my life and how it changed when I discovered the power of my brain stem—the location of the sixth chakra. The brain stem is the lower part of the brain above the spinal cord that handles a lot of the body’s involuntary processes. I associate it with our unconscious mind as well as our divine mind. When you become aware of this part of your mind through meditation, the energy there purifies and become brighter and the energy of your entire body changes for the better. As a result, how you think, how you feel, and how you live changes for the better as well.
By making the unconscious conscious in this way, you take charge of your brain and your life. The power of the brain stem is the power of divinity and the power of your soul. It is true creativity. You are connected to everything through your brain stem.
To reach this power, shake away your thoughts and worries and sink deep into your mind by practicing Brain Wave Vibration. The rhythmic waves produced by this moving meditation can help you relax and go beyond your thinking mind to take on a centered and clear perspective from which you can access what your soul really wants and how to achieve it.
Learn How to Observe Your Brain
At the Union Institute and University in Miami, Ilchi Lee talks about observing your brain through experience. Is yours fluid and flexible? Learn how to focus inside and observe your own brain in order to heal the emotional scars you’ve picked up in your life and take control of your destiny.

Don’t Be Afraid of Your Poop
Agony and delusion are phenomena we make every day for no particular reason. If you look at it a certain way, they are our excrement—natural products that aren’t very pretty. What I’m saying is, when you’re the one who took a dump, don’t be surprised by your own shit. You can think of it like: “Oh, I can shit this out again anytime I want.” It’s nothing special. If you recognize poop as poop with certainty, then it’s not scary.
It’s so obvious and natural for agony and delusion to arise. As long as we have life in us, we will always have those things. Don’t be afraid of that stuff or avoid it. All you need to do is know the original form of Life: light, sound, and vibration.
The original form of light, sound, and vibration is divine consciousness, or the original mind and source of energy—the LifeParticle Sun. Because the mind is originally bright like the sun, when you put go inside of the sun, all agony, delusion, selfish desire, and the like melt away. The LifeParticle Sun is the furnace that can melt away everything that’s gone wrong and make all religions become one and eradicate all of the karma in this world.
Just like your own excrement, you need to regularly clean out your agony, delusion, and selfish desires. If you don’t melt them away, you break and become destroyed. People get attached to the notions that they’ve made in their own way, and when those conceptions are shattered, they become so afraid and clingy. They become stiff and are broken upon the inevitable waves of change.
For example, you need a sword if you’re going to war. However, when the war is over, you don’t need a sword anymore; what you need is a hoe. In order to turn that sword into a hoe, you have to melt it. You have to become liquid metal in order to be able to change. Always be ready to become liquid metal at any time.
That’s why people who are enlightened go into the LifeParticle Sun to be melted of their own accord. That’s when you can determine your own direction. When you’re being melted by force, you don’t get to choose your direction. That’s why timing is important. If you wait too long to change, then you become a slave of change.

Village of Peace and Joy
My stay in New Zealand has inspired me in countless ways. As I walked through the tall forests of the North Island and led people in meditation here and spoke to them in the midst of breathtaking beauty unrivaled in the world, I discovered the final work I want to accomplish here on Earth.
I’ve spoken many times of creating an Earth Village, and I believe New Zealand is the place where it will finally come to fruition. This part of the world whose ecology developed in relative isolation is a place of openness and peace where hardly a human or animal attacks another. The native Maori culture has been preserved here and Maori participate in the local and national government. As you walk the land, the energy of Mother Earth is amazingly strong. The overall culture of New Zealand is already so close to that of the divine community I dream of that I believe it is the perfect place to plant the seeds of an Earth Village that can someday be replicated around the world.
The Earth Village I dream of will be a place where the arts are alive, where peace is alive, and where joy is alive. It’s a village where anyone can discover the divinity within them and leave with the dream and conviction to become hope and light for this dark world.
This village will contain a school where people can learn how to become real Earth Citizens with impeccable character, a strong connection to nature, and the will and knowledge to be stewards of the Earth.
I hope many people will join me in making this dream a reality—in forming a community that will begin in this one location, but that with a change in consciousness that will begin here, will spread throughout the globe. With flaming passion in my heart, I begin this work.

The Importance of Confidence in Academic Performance
Last January, before I headed to South Korea and New Zealand, I gave a talk about Brain Education at the Union Institute and University in Miami, Florida to a group of educators. Most of the methods I’ve developed or principles I’ve described fall under the heading of Brain Education; in this talk I addressed why Brain Education should be applied to an academic education and what happens when it is.
While I think most adults would agree that young people need to develop a good character and life coping skills, this aspect of education is sublimated in traditional schooling, with the possible exception of parochial schools and special charter schools. Emphasis is instead placed on making sure students meet specific standards by having them pass tests.
This strategy, however, ignores the intimate link between stress, emotional balance, and self-esteem and brain function and its consequent affect on academic performance. Brain Education recognizes this link and allows students to recognize their value and believe in themselves, making their brain function better and enhancing their school performance.
I’m happy I can share the full talk I gave with you here. What do you think about the way children are currently taught?
