This is a fun story about the magic of libraries. The illustrations are a bit scribbley for my taste, but it's still an interesting story. ...more | |

This is an interesting story, but it feels more like a synopsis of a movie than a fully developed tale. The colorful illustrations are amazing, exactly as I would expect from a Disney tale. |

Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

“Friends.
They aren’t any such thing as good friend or bad friend.
Maybe there are just friend.
People who stand by you when you're hurt and who helped you feel not so lonely.
Maybe there are worth being scared for and hoping for and living for.
Maybe worth dying for too.
If that what has to be.
No bad friends.
Only people you want.
Need to be with.
People who build their houses in your heart.”

I hope you like Unbroken. I found it to be heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.

The impending divorce has generated some spare time for me. It's time I would prefer thousands to one spending with my kids, but they're no longer here.

I still haven't finished it yet, but I really like it. It's a good combination of technical and scientific background with a family history filled with personal recollections and stories.
