Raised in a family of book lovers, Misha's mother first encouraged her to read by offering to pay her two cents per page of Hop on Pop, by Dr. Seuss. At first Misha was happy just to be raking in the cash, but before long she traded the pennies for the riches of the written word, and since that time she’s seldom been seen without a book in her hand.

Her first novel was published in 2008; in 2010 she was a finalist for the Bronte Prize for Romantic Fiction.
Misha is married and lives, works and writes in Northern Virginia.

Daffodils for Mom

Posting in honor of my mom, who would have celebrated her 70th birthday today. This was her favorite poem. Happy Birthday, Mom. Miss you so darn much. ❤

The Daffodils, by William Wordsworth:

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

An exceptional look at the hearts of women: our hopes and dreams, sins and fears. My love for this book goes from the roots of my hair to the tips of my fingers. I adored it and I will definitely read it again.

I just finished my umpteenth re-listen to this book. It's just as good as the first time. I love the depth of the tale, the twisted history of the town of Derry, and the purity of the friendship between the kids. And Stephen Weber is the perfect narr ...more

I can't believe that the otherwise-grinchy year of 2020 has gifted us with such a beautiful story about all the good things in life: family, friends, history, mystery, love, coffee, and - of course - books. I have always been a fan of "bibliolit" (b ...more
