Words flow for me normally, and although I might not have the experience of an adult for me to put into my novels, I have read quite a lot and feel that by extension have learned a lot about the writer's craft. This, combined with handbooks about writing and prose, make the actual creation of my works not too difficult or different.
However, the personal experience is very different. I started writing my first novel, The Trilogic Worlds: The Fictional War (find it at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T78B27H/) in my spare time. Being a young person, I had a lot of that free time, as there was no need to go to work or take care of other people. Despite this, not very many young people have written entire books, only several dozen or so. It's just something a lot of people find too difficult to do, and there is this stereotype of only adults being able to write, or it being impossible. I managed to overcome that and finish my novel.
One of the few things that it is like being such a young author and not being like as an adult author is that you are seen as pretty unusual, even in author circles. People I meet are astonished when I tell them about my book.
That pretty much finishes it up. There aren't many stark differences between older and younger authors - and they have one major thing in common: writing is hard.
Thank you for asking this question, Areej, and I hope that I have answered it. Please check out my book (there is one more thing about being a young author - it is tough to get your book out there, especially if it was self-published like mine was and you don't have the funds or connections to promote your book properly).
The Fictional War is free on Kindle Unlimited and $3.99 otherwise for the ebook. (less)

I write for about fifteen to twenty minutes every morning, and so spend the night before mulling over what will happen next in the story. If I can't think of anything at that time, then the next time that I sit down to right I will read what I wrote before to see where the storyline could flow next.
As for having difficulties writing, and not wanting to write - it happens to everyone. I just tell myself I have to finish this, and even if I'm stuck or it will take me forever to write the 750 words I aim for, I will keep writing until it is done.(less)

I’m sure that we have all experienced it. That cold, nagging doubt that tells us we aren’t good enough, or that we will never finish our book. Maybe it is a similar feeling that writing is too Read more of this blog post »

“When I want to read a novel, I write one.”
Benjamin Disraeli

“I know I must conceal my sentiments: I must smother hope; I must remember that he cannot care much for me. For when I say that I am of his kind, I do not mean that I have his force to influence, and his spell to attract: I mean only that I have certain tastes and feelings in common with him.I must, then, repeat continually that we are forever sundered: - and yet, while I breathe and think, I must love him.”
Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre
